Junior Achievement of South Florida Lights Up The Night!
August 19, 2015 (BOCA RATON, FL) Junior Achievement of South Florida’s Light Up The Night event lavished attendees with cigars, swag bags, and fabulous food at Prime Cigar & Wine Bar. Over 200 people gathered to support the organization as part of Boca Chamber Festival Days.

Attendees were greeted by a line-up of exotic cars including a yellow Lamborghini Aventador, a black Ferrari 458 and a volcano red McLaren 650S Spider, just a sampling of the inventory Scott Zankl maintains for his clients at Excell Auto Group. They enjoyed Montecristo Cigars, NYY Steak sliders, crab cakes and cheesecake; Tellamore Dew Whiskey; Reyka Vodka; and Voss Water; while listening to DJ1Tre Michael Marino. Media partners BYL Network, Lifestyle Media Group and iHeart Radio were also in attendance to capture the excitement.
While networking with business professionals from Broward and Palm Beach Counties, attendees also participated in a silent auction featuring getaways to Boca Resort & Club and Hawk’s Cay; golf outings at Coral Ridge Country Club, Jonathan Landings, PGA National, Via Mizner Country Club, and Wycliff Country Club; and gift certificates to Abe & Louie’s, Blue Martini, Bokamper’s Sports Bar, Burt & Max’s, The Capital Grill, Flashback Diner, Max’s Grill, Oceans 234, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Scarfone’s, and Sicilian Oven. Gifts also included donations from Allianz Championship, A&T Dry Cleaners, ESPN Boca Bowl, Honda Classic, Jess Frank Golf Academy, Keurig, Miami Dolphins, Miami Marlins, Paramount Refreshment Solutions, Prime Cigar & Wine Bar, Tire Hut, and Water Taxi.
Junior Achievement of South Florida’s President, Laurie Sallarulo, was pleased to have the opportunity to connect with the Boca Raton community as the nonprofit serves students throughout Broward and South Palm Beach Counties, including Boca Raton and Delray Beach. Ryan Leeds, owner of Prime Cigar & Wine Bar, was proud to host the event as he is a strong believer in the important programs the organization provides for the community’s children. Through ticket sales, donations, and auction items, the event raised almost $40,000 which will directly benefit local programs focusing on financial literacy, workforce readiness and entrepreneurship.
