Local restoration company supports active duty military personnel serving overseas
Stuart, Fla. — Venture Construction Group of Florida (VCGFL) is a Gold Sponsor of the 2nd annual A Walk in Their Shoes event to send holiday care packages to troops overseas. The 2nd annual event, hosted by Courage On All Fronts, includes a 5K walk/run with a pack of items. A Walk in Their Shoes takes place on November 12th at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Park located at 6305 SE Ironwood Circle. Courage On All Fronts invites veterans, community members, families, and businesses to attend with a care package, walk or run the 5K, and donate the items for troops serving overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan. Courage On All Fronts will ship the items overseas in time for the holidays. The day’s festivities include live music, vendors, food trucks and children’s activities. Courage On All Fronts provides activities for veterans to connect in a supportive environment throughout Martin, Indian, Palm Beach, and St. Lucie Counties. Activities and services include equine assisted therapy and trained PTSD service dogs for combat veterans, chartered fishing trips, horseback riding, golf outings.
