Leading Florida construction company provides full-scope property inspections; swift restoration services
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Venture Construction Group of Florida (VCGFL), a leading construction and restoration company headquartered in Florida since 1998, helps numerous property owners with repairs after the recent hail storm caused severe damage to homes and businesses. The severe thunderstorms and hailstorms that swept through First Coast Orange Park in May left many homes and businesses with extensive hail, water and wind damage throughout Duval, Baker, Clay, Nassau, St. Johns Counties.
“As a construction company headquartered in Florida for over 20 years, we definitely see some of our nation’s worst storms here. We’re dedicated to helping property owners get the repairs they need and fast! Being based in storm central, we hold the nation’s leading accreditations to provide the best level of service. It is so important to obtain a full-scope property inspection from a licensed and certified inspector, especially now that we’re in hurricane season. Undetected exterior and roof damage leads to serious long term leaks,” says Stephen Shanton, president and founder of Venture Construction Group of Florida.
Venture Construction Group crews have been conducting free property inspections throughout the area and helping numerous property owners with repairs. As a nationally recognized industry leader in storm damage repairs and restoration work, VCGFL provides free property inspections, residential and commercial HAAG certified crews, 3rd party assessments, and full repairs including roofing, siding, gutters, pool enclosures, screened porches, and exteriors.
“We’re still working on property damage repairs from Hurricane Matthew last year. Many property owners mistakenly think hurricanes cause more damage than hailstorms, but in reality, hailstorms usually include wind damage and typically result in severe property damage from cracking, denting, and bruising, which can not only wreak havoc on your property, it can also void the manufacturer’s warranty. We recommend getting a full-scope property inspection from an accredited leading, a local contractor,” says Shanton.
According to FirstCoast News ABC, baseball-sized hail was reported. According to CBS 47/ Fox 30 Action News Jax reports near the beaches included a water spout and golf ball-sized hail, heavy flooding, strong wind and hail damage. According to police and town officials, the storm created massive property damage, power outages, and road blockages and even home damage caused by falling trees. According to the National Weather Service, wind gusts of 66 mph were felt at the Jacksonville International Airport during the peak of the storm. Weather reports indicate the worst of the storms were felt near Blount Island, the Beaches, and even damages as far as Nocatee.
Undetected hail damage can lead to leaks, structural deterioration, premature aging, and weakened roofing structures and exteriors susceptible to further damage in the event of future storms and hurricanes. Hail damage and wind damage may not be immediately apparent or visible after a storm, making it extremely important to have a full-scope inspection. Many property owners are unaware of what steps to take to determine if they have hail and wind damage.
