Venture Construction Group of Florida Partners with Habitat for Humanity

Local construction company restores home for West Palm Beach family in need

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Venture Construction Group of Florida (VCGFL) recently partnered with Habitat for Humanity and provided some much-needed muscle in the fight to provide improved housing for a family who needed major repairs and restoration. VCGFL put their construction expertise to action to help a low-income family in need in West Palm Beach. VCGFL staff and crews teamed up to install new siding and build a porch.

“At Venture, we are committed to giving back. We support Habitat for Humanity not only for its mission of generosity and empowerment, but also because we share a common commitment of helping families realize the American dream. We look forward to assisting even more families in need,” says Stephen Shanton, president and CEO of Venture Construction Group of Florida.

Habitat for Humanity works to eliminate housing insecurity in towns, cities, urban and rural landscapes throughout the globe. Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat builds and rehabilitates homes with the help of both community volunteers and the homeowner families. Habitat houses are sold to partner families at no profit and financed with affordable loans. The homeowners’ monthly mortgage payments are used to build more Habitat houses. Habitat works with families to help them acquire the access, skills and financial education necessary for them to be successful homeowners. Habitat has built more than 250,000 houses around the world, providing more than 1 million people in more than 3,000 communities with safe, decent, affordable shelter. With community support, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and for their families.

Committed to philanthropy, VCGFL sponsors numerous charitable endeavors throughout the state each year including ALS, Roof Deployment Project, Support Our Troops, Aid to Victims of Domestic Violence, and more.
