The Hurricane & Storm Damage Preparedness seminar includes expert speakers in construction, real estate, law, insurance restoration and storm damage repairs. The speaker lineup kicks off with Joe Radcliff, CEO of the National Insurance Restoration Council, a non-profit organization devoted to protecting and educating property owners and restoration contractors. Radcliff, a Florida native, will discuss how to protect your property before, during, and after a storm. Radcliff will review hurricane season predictions in Florida, hurricane preparedness, how to choose a qualified and vetted construction and restoration company. Michael Duffy, partner at the Childress Duffy Law Firm, will discuss how to obtain proper insurance policies and protection for your home or commercial property. Steve Shanton, CEO of Venture Construction Group of Florida will discuss storm damage repairs, assessments, and preparedness, particularly for property owners who were hit by the April hail storm in Stuart and Martin County.
