Premier Florida Restoration Company Sponsors Junior Achievement of the Treasure Coast and Palm Beaches
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Committed to giving back to the community, Venture Construction Group of Florida (VCGFL) sponsored the 4th annual Play4JA Golf Tournament in Palm Beach to benefit Junior Achievement (JA) of the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast. VCGFL was the Golf Cart and Tee Sign Sponsor. The tournament was held on May 8. Registration opened at 7:30 a.m. and kicked off at 9 a.m. at Palm Beach Par 3. VCGFL employees teed up for a cause with community members, local business leaders, youth and teens. VCGFL is a major supporter of numerous community events, activities and nonprofit organizations throughout the state.

Junior Achievement provides education in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, work and career readiness to children and teens. Programs are funded through contributions from businesses, individuals, foundations, and event fundraisers. Junior Achievement was founded in 1919 by Theodore Vail, president of American Telephone & Telegraph; Horace Moses, president of Strathmore Paper Co.; and Senator Murray Crane of Massachusetts. Its first program, JA Company Program®, was offered to high school students on an after-school basis. In 1975, the organization entered the classroom with the introduction of Project Business for the middle grades. Junior Achievement is now the nation’s largest organization dedicated to providing youth with the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices.
