“At Venture, we’re committed to giving back, and we honor our nation’s military personnel and veterans,” says Stephen Shanton, CEO and president, Venture Construction Group of Florida, Inc., Venture Construction Group, Inc.

The Bonefrog races were created by U.S. Navy Seals to challenge, build and inspire participants to become better athletes while recognizing they can do anything they set their minds to, while enjoying the camaraderie and teamwork that active duty Navy Seals experience. Proceeds benefit the Navy Seal Foundation, which provides immediate and ongoing support and assistance to the Naval Special Warfare (NSW) community. The foundation supports critical needs of active-duty personnel and veterans and provides family services, command support, educational programs, and legacy activities.

“It is apparent to us that Venture truly cares about the well-being of the communities they work with. The sponsorship really helps us with necessary training equipment to foster a team environment and helps us to make Team Evolve a creative alternative for folks who may not want to go to the gym while giving them an opportunity to develop positive relationships with others in the community.  We are so very grateful and hope that Venture understands the impact their contributions have made to Team Evolve and the lives it changes!”, says JT Thompson, CEO and founder, Evolve with JT.

The final competition of the season is the Team Evolve Final Evolution Race, held on Dec. 7 in Panama City Beach, Fla. Venture’s corporate giving campaigns support numerous initiatives annually including programs that positively impact U.S. active duty military personnel and veterans. Based in Panama City, Fla., Team Evolve trains and participate in a variety of obstacle courses throughout the year, in addition to volunteering in a number of community projects.
