Construction Companies Help Raise Funds for Enhanced Living Conditions
MIAMI Fla.— As a long-time supporter of homeowner advocacy, Venture Construction Group of Florida (VCGFL), VCG International (VCGI), and VCG Consulting (VCGC) sponsored the Rebuilding Together Miami-Dade Fishing Tournament on June 1. The tournament started at 5:30 a.m. with weigh-ins starting at 4 p.m. Over 20 boats participated and the event raised over $34,100. Rebuilding Together relies on volunteers and donations to be successful. The Rebuilding Together Fishing Tournament continues to grow each year and over the past 9 years they have raised over $128,130 in contributions.
With the support of local businesses, residents, and corporate sponsors, Rebuilding Together repairs homes, revitalizes communities, and helps rebuild lives. The charity also eliminates unsafe and deplorable living conditions for low-income homeowners, particularly the elderly, veterans, and those with disabilities.

Rebuilding Together started in 1973 with the simple act of neighbors helping neighbors. Rebuilding Together’s local affiliates and nearly 100,000 volunteers complete about 10,000 rebuild projects nationwide each year. The organization works with community partners to provide critical repairs, accessibility modifications and energy efficient upgrades to low-income homes and community centers at no cost to service recipients. The impact extends beyond the individuals served, to revitalize and stabilize vulnerable neighborhoods and communities across the country.
